We would like to inform you that the general renovation of the Villach Alpine Road, which has already begun, will be continued in 2025.

The following construction schedule is planned:

Construction start: April 22, 2025
From Monday, April 22 to Friday, May 2, 2025, preparatory work will be carried out.
During this period, the road will remain at least single-lane and accessible up to Parking Area P11.

Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9, 2025
The road will only be accessible up to hairpin bend 5 (approx. km 9.1).
From hairpin 5 (approx. km 9.1) to Parking Area P11, the road will be completely closed.

General information
At weekends (Saturday, Sunday) and on public holidays, the road is always open to two lanes of traffic.
