Everesting on the Villacher Alpenstraße

On Saturday, 30 May 2026, the cycling event “Everesting” will take place on the Villacher Alpenstraße.

For this reason, the Villacher Alpenstraße will be closed to all motorised traffic on this day. Visitor buses and organisational vehicles are exempt from this closure.

For local residents, uphill and downhill access will only be possible during the following time slots:

08:00 to 09:00
14:00 to 15:00
from 19:00 onwards

We kindly ask local residents to use these access times only for essential journeys and to drive slowly and carefully so that all road users can share the road safely.
